The Forest of Dean & Wye Valley open their studio doors again during July and early August. All have been busy creating works for you to enjoy. This web site lists by area names of participating artists or groups of artists and their studio details including directions, days their studios are open, types of work, contact details and an image of their work.

The Open Studios Art Trail is a unique opportunity to talk with a wide variety of individual artists and makers and has been happening for the last 20 years. Visitors to Artists Studios are advised to look out for the red flags

• Come and discover the wonderful wealth of talent abounding in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley during July, days were stated and also by appointment. Artists open their studios for you to visit, enjoy and perhaps buy. You can always be sure of a warm welcome.
• Follow signs, look out for banners flying, enjoy the Forest while you travel.  If you do have any difficulty finding any artists please phone for help - also for advice if disabled. Studios are only open during the art trail, but you can contact artists by appointment throughout the year.

 

Open Studios is a non- profit making organization run by a volunteer management committee and funded by membership fees and grants. The management committee are responsible for the events, colour brochure, posters and their distribution with an annual advertising campaign covering Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Gwent and Cardiff.
