Patricia Hodgkinson (Pat) retired from the National Health Service about ten years ago after a twenty year career in Administration and IT Project Management working in Wales, Bristol and Gloucestershire.  Pat has an Open University degree and a post graduate diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry. 

These skills may not seem too appropriate for craft work but when raising a young family sewing was a useful hobby which after retirement became all absorbing.  Computerised sewing machines, printable fabric, a love of decoration has all contributed to what Pat does now.  After a five year period making decorated garments for ladies and children and taking these to craft fairs Pat was ready for a change.  Now she is making bags and play blankets with the emphasis on a beautiful finish.  Machine embroidery, digital images printed on fabric and incorporated into the design and embroidery and appliqué enhancement all contribute.
